The WILLY CHAVARRIA mission is to uplift the underrepresented through the transformative power of art and design. The brand's collections blend the emotional depth of art with contemporary political themes, drawing on Willy's Mexican-American heritage, the beauty found in the streets, and the surrounding culture. Community is not a marketing word here - it is the brand's core pillar.

So when WILLY CHAVARRIA partnered with Adidas on a World Cup collection - reimagining football-inspired design through the legacy of the Mexican National Team and the unifying power of the game - the launch needed to carry identity, heritage, and belonging. A static product grid was never going to do that.

The challenge

Shoppers already live in AI. Now their storefront does too.

Consumers increasingly discover, evaluate, and buy with AI - 90% of brands, retailers, and agencies now use AI to improve their shopping experience, and AI agents drove 20% of all retail sales during the 2025 holiday season. The WILLY CHAVARRIA team saw the shift and treated it as a strategic step, not an experiment: meet the community where shopping is actually heading.

The stakes were sharpened by the launch itself. Culturally significant drops create a surge of high-intent traffic that traditional ecommerce wastes.

  • Drop-day intent, static funnel: one of the most in-demand releases of the year would land on shoppers scrolling a grid, hunting for size, fit, and context on their own.
  • Connection that a PDP can't carry: the brand's relationship with its community - the feeling of being known and styled - disappeared the moment shoppers went online.
  • A global audience, uneven access: demand from regions where the brand has no physical presence, each with different products, pricing, and shipping expectations.
  • Pressure to convert the moment: an exclusive drop only gets one launch day.
"A key pillar of our brand is the feeling of connectedness with our community, and Swap will change the way consumers around the world are able to interact with us. This level of access reaches areas where we may not have a physical presence yet."

The solution

An exclusive launch, released through an agent instead of a webpage.

WILLY CHAVARRIA launched the Adidas World Cup collection exclusively through ai.willychavarria.com, the brand's Agentic Storefront built and powered by Swap - the first major fashion exclusive on the platform. Instead of a traditional funnel, every shopper got a fully conversational, interactive experience from first question to checkout.

  1. Guided discovery. An AI agent embedded directly into the Storefront guides shoppers through the collection, narrating fit, fabric, and intent - a personal stylist that knows the drop, not a search bar.
  2. Personalized recommendations. The agent asks questions, remembers style preferences and saved items across visits, and tailors the collection to each shopper.
  3. Virtual try-on, in real time. Shoppers create an avatar and virtually try on every look before buying - closing the gap between interest and confidence, and cutting the guesswork that drives returns.
  4. Checkout without leaving the experience. Discovery to purchase in a single branded flow - no handoff to a static site.
  5. Global from day one. Region-aware shopping for EU, UK, and US customers with the right products, prices, and shipping options upfront - access for the community everywhere, physical presence or not.
"Major drops deserve more than a static product page. We built Swap Storefront for brands that see commerce as an experience, not just a transaction."

The results

One major launch. 2x Willy's best ecommerce day ever.

As a result of the launch, WILLY CHAVARRIA 2x'd its best single day of ecommerce sales - the Adidas World Cup drop didn't just set a record, it doubled the previous one.

And in general, the platform benchmarks held: since launching in early 2026, Swap Storefront has demonstrated 2x conversion rates, 3x time on site, and 20% fewer returns compared to traditional ecommerce journeys.

In addition:

  • More shoppers adding to cart. 58% of virtual try-on sessions end in add-to-cart.
  • Try-on driving purchases. 20% of virtual try-on sessions convert to purchase.
  • Bigger baskets, more orders. A 22% increase in monthly average order volume and a 20% increase in daily total orders.

When a launch is built as an experience - guided, personal, and available to the community everywhere - drop-day intent stops leaking out of a static funnel and starts converting. For WILLY CHAVARRIA, the Agentic Storefront turned its most culturally significant release into its most commercially successful day, and set a new playbook for how major drops reach consumers.
