Storefront Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: 16 January 2026

This Storefront Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) explains how consumers (“you”, “your”) may and may not use Storefront, an AI-powered shopping service that enables conversational purchasing and, where available, virtual try-on features for apparel (“Storefront”), provided by Swap Commerce Ltd (“Swap”, “we” or “us”).

Important: Swap does not sell the apparel displayed on Storefront. Swap only operates as an intermediary between you and the merchant whose goods you can browse and purchase through Storefront (“Merchant”). All goods purchased through Storefront are marketed and sold by the Merchant. Your purchase of the goods is governed by a contract between you and the Merchant, and the Merchant is responsible for any issues with the goods. You may also have statutory consumer rights depending on the country where you live.

By accessing or using Storefront, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use Storefront. If you breach this Policy, we may limit, suspend or terminate your access to Storefront and take other actions as further described in Section 6. Violation of this Policy.

1. Purpose

Storefront is intended solely for lawful, consumer-facing shopping interactions relating to apparel offered to consumers by the Merchant. Any use outside this purpose is prohibited.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Storefront complies with this Policy and all applicable laws.

2. Core Principles

You must use Storefront and all content you provide to or generate through Storefront:

  • Lawfully and in good faith
  • In a manner that does not expose others to harm
  • Without attempting to defeat or circumvent safety measures
  • In line with the intended consumer shopping use case

You agree we may use your content to provide and improve Storefront. Your content and activity on Storefront may also be monitored using automated tools and, where appropriate, human review. You can find more information about how we use your personal information as a ‘controller’ when you use Storefront in the Storefront Privacy Policy.

3. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You must not use Storefront to create, upload, provide, request, or interact with content or conduct that is illegal, harmful, or unsafe.

3.1 Prohibited Uses

  • Take any action which is designed or intended to interfere with the integrity, security or stability of Storefront (see Section 3.5 Platform Integrity & Technical Abuse)
  • Use Storefront to process any sensitive information (other than your payment data when you are expressly asked to provide your payment information) including any personal data in respect of any other person and any special categories of personal data in respect of you or any other person (where the term ‘special categories’ means data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation)
  • Use Storefront in any manner that is prohibited or considered ‘high risk’ under applicable laws governing the use of artificial intelligence

To protect children and comply with child safety laws, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Accessing or attempting to access Storefront if you are under 18
  • Providing or generating images or other content (including avatars) of minors or children under any circumstances (even with parental or guardian’s consent)

  • Provide group images, videos or other content containing more than one identifiable person
  • Impersonate another individual or misrepresent your identity

You will be required to confirm that images, videos or other content you provide depict you or a person who has consented. False confirmations constitute a violation of this Policy.

3.5 Platform Integrity & Technical Abuse

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, unbundle, disassemble, scrape, or create derivative works based on, the whole or any part of Storefront nor attempt to do such things, except to the limited extent that such actions cannot lawfully be prohibited by Swap
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related, authentication-related, copy-protection or rate-limiting features of Storefront
  • Attempt to bypass safeguards, content filters, or moderation systems
  • Use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with Storefront
  • Probe, stress-test or impose an unreasonably or disproportionately large load or strain on Storefront

4. AI Interaction Boundaries

The AI agent within Storefront:

  • Is designed exclusively to support shopping-related interactions
  • Does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice
  • May generate responses that are illustrative or approximate

You must not attempt to manipulate the AI into producing prohibited outputs in violation of this Policy.

5. Virtual Try-On (VTO) Specific Rules

When using virtual try-on features:

  • Provide only clear, accurate, and unaltered images, videos or other content of yourself you have permission to use
  • Do not provide images, videos or other content depicting nudity or intimate body parts
  • Do not provide or attempt to generate pornographic, sexualized, or fetish content
  • Do not attempt to sexualise avatars or the virtual try-on experience
  • Do not attempt to generate misleading or deceptive representations

You acknowledge that outputs are visual simulations only, and do not guarantee or determine the actual fit or availability of a garment. The VTO feature is intended to provide a helpful visualisation, but it is an approximation and may not reflect body shape, personal features, or product details with perfect accuracy.

6. Violation of this Policy

If we reasonably believe this Policy has been violated, we may:

  • Block or remove your content
